Yup, I’m an idiot. After watching a few YouTube tutorials and doing a bit of research I thought I’d finally get around to doing the Kitaco Clutch Cover upgrade on my 2017 Honda Grom, as well as putting in a new oil pump and some stiffer clutch springs while I had the case open.
Unfortunately I made a bit of a catastrophic error and had to abort mission on the oil pump + springs halfway through! Anyway, still actually enjoyed doing it and learnt a bit.
Links below for some good tutorials (the parts I didn’t follow are the ones that went wrong FYI, unsurprisingly!) :

I don’t have a lot of specific links handy but these sort of things :
Either get one of these :
Multipurpose Clutch basket holder ()
Or look for something like this, you can probably find much cheaper ones around :
Gear holder (grom gear holder 2.5mm – HONDA 07724-001A100 GEAR HOLDER 2.5MM)
Honda tool ()
Kitaco Clutch Cover Kit :
I got mine from here :
(Aside from standard tools, you’ll also need gaskets and crush washers for oil drain as well as oil to refill).
Finally, shoutout to hondagrom.net forum for being helpful.
