New 2021 Suzuki GSX S950 – Visual Review

This is a video review of the new Suzuki GSX S950 2021 super naked bike.

It is a detuned version of the Suzuki GSX-S1000, but tuned to make 94 hp.

The bike has been also designed for the A2 licencing scheme used in Europe, so the GSX-S950 can have the engine restricted to 47 hp, to cater to riders with A2 licences.

Despite the 950 name, the engine is the same 9 hundred 99 inline, four-cylinder, used in the Suzuki GSX-S1000. Peak torque is also lowered, but the bike still produces 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 r p m, to offer plenty of punch in the mid-range.

It comes in a red, white and black paint scheme, or in the classic blue or black.

In addition, the bike gets three traction control modes, as well as ride-by-wire.

The bike weight is 214 kg.

The braking system is also different, with the Suzuki GSX-S950 getting Tokico, four-piston front calipers, instead of the Brembo calipers on the Suzuki GSX-S1000.

Rear brake is a Nissin single-piston caliper, gripping a 240 mm single disc.

The 43 mm KYB fork is also a lower-spec unit.
